Suitable for use on flat roofs with maximum inclination of 15º, they also provide controlled ventilation and emergency escape access.

Used to access the roof area whilst also allowing natural daylight to enter a space, access hatches are available in various sizes. Polycarbonate skins can be double, triple or quadruple – clear or diffused. Each come with either 160 mm vertical upstand (recommended for frequent use) or 150 mm splayed upstand (recommended for occasional use).

Q. "are my domed or casement roof vents guaranteed against wind damage whilst left in the open position"?

A. Casement or domed roof vents left in the open position are only guaranteed up to wind speeds of 20mph or 10m/s. Any roof vents left open in wind speeds in excess of this may suffer damager which the manufacturers will not cover. The alternative is to provide a louvered roof vent with a wind shield.
