Features:
Blade Options: The Opensky louvred smoke & natural ventilator can be manufactured with a variety of blade options. Translucent polycarbonate louvre blades provide excellent daylighting using a durable UV stabilised material, whilst also manufactured with insulated and un-insulated blades as standard. all blade options can be upgraded to de-mountable blades for easy access and servicing.

Control Options: Rack and pinion drives have a slim, attractive aluminium housing of a robust, 30 x 30 mm square tube, into which the rack retracts. The cut-off switch and the motor gearbox unit are accommodated in a rounded, grey plastic housing attached at the side.

Custom Sizing and Free Areas: Stairwell automatic opening ventilators (AOV) are used in the stairwells of flats and office buildings where protecting the common escape routes is of paramount importance. The roof opensky can be manufactured in a range of sizes to match the required Approved Document B or geometric free areas. **Additional cost may apply

Fire Safety Capability: The Roof Opensky Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) Systems are integrated into a fire alarm system. As soon as the alarm is activated, the AOV automatically fully opens creating a “chimney effect”, which discards the existing smoke, therefore making it possible for people to find the exits and for Firefighters to extinguish the fire accordingly.

Installation Ease: Opensky is suitable for fixing in a wide variety of applications. The ventilator is supplied in two parts to facilitate easy installation on-site, the base assembly and the vent assembly. The base type options are either a turndown base for upstand mounting or flat base for roof sheet mounting.

Access Hatch Capability: The Roof Opensky can also be supplied with a hinged base for use as an access hatch. The roof Opensky can be used as a staircase ventilator or roof-mounted lobby/corridor ventilator and to provide external roof access when required.
